Dawn Foster

Dawn Foster is a journalist, contributing regularly to The Guardian, London Review of Books, Times Literary Supplement, and New Humanist. She writes on politics, social affairs, economics and inequality, and is a regular political commentator on BBC Newsnight and Sky News.

Dawn will be speaking about her forthcoming book, Lean Out: The Rise of 1% Feminism from publisher Repeater Books. Dawn comments that ‘Sheryl Sandberg’s Lean In might work for high-flying businesswomen, but what are the rest of us meant to do, when the pay gap has widened, and wages haven’t risen since before the recession?’ Join her for a thoughtful and entertaining critique of corporate/trickledown feminism.

Dawn will also be speaking as part of our panel for the symposium on Radical Publishing for the New Millennium.
